Elcomsoft Distributed Password Recovery introduces resource management capabilities

Elcomsoft Distributed Password Recovery 4.60 brings resource management capabilities, enabling multiple password recovery jobs to run in parallel within their allocated computational resources. The new feature allows running several password recovery jobs at the same time and is a game changer for multi-user environments.

We are excited to announce the release of Elcomsoft Distributed Password Recovery 4.60, packed with incredible features and enhancements to elevate your password recovery experience to new heights. Here's what's new:

Resource management

The new resource management capability is a game-changer for busy environments. The feature allows administrators to easily manage and distribute the available computational resources across multiple jobs. The feature enables users to tap into a pool of available resources by requesting a certain number of recovery agents. The reserved recovery agents will be allocated, allowing multiple jobs to run separately at the same time.

In essence, multiuser capability simplifies the process of managing and utilizing the available computational resources by several jobs, ultimately leading to improved efficiency and scalability.

Enhanced Hash Extraction (EHE)

Now, extracting LM/NTLM/DCC hashes is easier than ever before, facilitating subsequent brute force attacks with improved efficiency. Plus, the updated Hash Extractor adds support for new versions of LastPass and 1Password.

iTunes Backups

iTunes backups feature strong protection, making brute-force attacks extremely slow. In this release, we speed up attacks by 10 to 20 per cent when using a compatible Nvidia board. In addition, hardware acceleration is now available with AMD and Intel GPUs.

Other features

We’ve added support for the latest versions of LastPass, TallyPrime Rel and Bitcoin Core apps, and enabled CPU Acceleration for Intuit formats. In addition, we've resolved multiple issues across various modules including espr_crypt, espr_luks2, espr_sha512, and espr_zip. Finally, Intel Arc support is now available for all plugins currently supporting hardware acceleration on Intel GPUs.
