Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp 2.20 Updated with iOS 11 and Excel Export Support

Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp 2.20 adds full iOS 11 support, and enables compatibility with the latest versions of WhatsApp for iOS and Android. In addition, the update adds Excel exporting, allowing experts to save extracted data as an Excel-compatible spreadsheet.

Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp 2.20 is updated to support the latest versions of iOS and WhatsApp. Now fully supporting iOS 11, Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp 2.20 can be used to download, decrypt and extract information from backups produced by WhatsApp running on iPhone devices powered by the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS. In addition, Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp 2.20 adds compatibility with the latest versions of WhatsApp for both iOS and Android platforms.

The updated release of Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp now allows experts to export downloaded data. The tool employs Excel-compatible XLSX format for exporting evidence extracted from WhatsApp. The XLSX format is widely supported by the industry. Users can opt to use a tool of their choice to continue analysing evidence extracted with Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp open the file in Microsoft Excel or print it out as “hard” evidence.
