Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 8.0 Adds iOS 11 Support

Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 8.0 is a major release adding forensic support for Apple devices running iOS 11. The update supports the decryption of and password recovery for local backups, downloads system backups, files, media and synced data from iCloud Drive, and offers access to iCloud Keychain. In addition, the eights version of Elcomsoft Phone Breaker now provides Two-Factor Authentication support (a long-time Forensic edition exclusive) for users of Forensic and Professional editions at no extra charge.

Elcomsoft Phone Breaker receives a major update. Version 8.0 includes compatibility with iOS 11 including the changes made to the cloud and local backup formats, encryption schemes and protocols. Elcomsoft Phone Breaker can recover passwords and decrypt iTunes-style local backups produced by iOS 11 devices, obtain cloud backups, files and synced data from iCloud Drive.

In addition, Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 8.0 can access iCloud Keychain items synced by iOS 11 devices. iCloud Keychain support offers experts the ability to view passwords, financial information and authentication credentials stored in iCloud Keychain by users of iOS and macOS devices.

Last but not least, we recognize the importance of Two-Factor Authentication. With Apple making a stronger push for two-factor authentication in iOS 11, we decided to change our licensing. Starting with Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 8.0, support for Two-Factor Authentication is now included to both Professional and Forensic editions. Prior to 8.0 release, two-factor authentication support was a Forensic Edition exclusive.

Existing users of Elcomsoft Phone Breaker Professional with valid, non-expired licenses will enjoy full Two-Factor Authentication support at no extra charge once they update to Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 8.0.

The update is free of charge to all customers who purchased or renewed their Elcomsoft Phone Breaker or Elcomsoft Mobile Forensic Bundle license within one year. Discounted renewal is available to customers whose maintenance plan has already expired.
